To reach the district of Alykes you first have to get to Zakynthos! The island can be reached via aeroplane (the most popular choice for the majority of tourists) or by ferry boat from mainland Greece.

There are international flights all year round to Athens airport with connecting flights to the island or you can hire a car or take the coach from Athens to the port of Kyllini and then the ferry boat to Zakynthos port.
